Generate Articles with Screenshots
Overview
Generate articles in DocsHound with screenshots and optional text input to document the processes covered in your guide. This allows you to produce articles with minimal manual input.
Select an Article
To begin, select an existing article from the table of contents in the sidebar, or create a new article.
Click the plus button to add a new article within a section. You can also add a new section using the plus button at the top of the sidebar next to the user guide name.
Create Your Article
Click the Add Screenshot
button, and select multiple screenshots to upload. Organize screenshots logically by uploading them in the order of the steps.
We will use sending a letter in DocuPost as an example.
You can choose to enter details about the procedure directly into the text box using bullet points or sentences. You may also use the microphone button for voice-to-text input.
To generate the article, click Generate Informational Page
or Generate Step-by-step Page
.
For a higher quality result, enable the Use Agents
toggle, which will result in longer processing time.
DocsHound will analyze the screenshots and text and provide an estimated completion time.
You can work on other articles while DocsHound generates the draft.
After generation, review the completed article, which will present an overview and detailed, step-by-step instructions. You can edit the article in the DocsHound app to refine the content for your guide.
